Scope
This Privacy Notice applies to:
- job seekers and candidates;
- employers, recruiters and their authorised representatives;
- visitors to the Platform;
- persons who contact our support, grievance or verification teams; and
- other persons whose personal data is processed in connection with the Services.
Separate or supplemental notices may be shown at specific collection points where necessary.
Personal data we may collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect the following categories of personal data.
3.1Account and identity information
Name, mobile number, email address, login credentials or authentication information, OTP verification records, profile photograph and other account identifiers.
3.2Candidate profile and employment information
Age or date of birth where required, city and locality, preferred work location, education, skills, work experience, current and expected salary, availability, languages, preferred job categories, shift preferences, employment history, resume or CV, certifications and other information voluntarily added to a candidate profile or application.
3.3Employer and recruiter information
Name, designation, company or organisation name, business contact details, office and location details, hiring requirements, company profile information and information used to establish that a recruiter is authorised to act for an employer.
3.4Employer verification information
Where required to verify an employer or prevent fraud, we may collect business registration information, GST, CIN or similar business identifiers, official email or domain information, authorised-representative information, supporting documents and verification outcomes. We will seek to collect only information reasonably necessary for the relevant verification purpose.
3.5Job application and hiring activity
Jobs viewed or saved, searches and filters, applications, employer shortlisting or rejection status, contact-unlock events, interview information, hiring-stage updates, reports, blocks, feedback and other activity associated with recruitment.
3.6Communications
Messages or information exchanged through Platform features, support correspondence, complaint and grievance communications, and records relating to permitted SMS, WhatsApp, email or telephone communications. Where a communication is handled by an external communications provider, that provider may process the relevant contact and message metadata in accordance with its role and applicable law.
3.7Location information
Location you manually provide, such as city, locality, PIN code or preferred work area. If a feature requests device-based precise or approximate location, we will request the relevant device or browser permission before accessing it where required.
3.8Payment and transaction information
For paid employer features, we may process order value, payment status, transaction and reference IDs, invoice and GST information, purchased plan or contact unlocks and refund information. Card, UPI, banking or similar payment credentials may be collected directly by the applicable payment gateway or payment service provider rather than stored by NaukarDundo, subject to that provider’s terms and privacy practices.
3.9Device, log and usage information
IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language, referring pages, timestamps, pages and features used, diagnostic logs, security events and cookie or similar technology identifiers.
3.10Information you voluntarily provide
Any additional information you submit in forms, job descriptions, resumes, support requests, feedback, complaints or communications.
Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive information, or third-party personal data that you are not authorised to provide.

- send promotional communications where permitted and subject to applicable choices and consent;
- personalise and improve search, matching, ranking, usability and product experience;

- establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and
- perform other purposes disclosed to you at the point of collection, or for which valid consent is obtained where required.
Consent and user choice
Where processing is based on your consent, we aim to provide a clear notice describing the personal data and purpose before or at the time consent is requested. Consent should be given through an affirmative action.
Where applicable, you may withdraw consent through the Platform’s available settings or by contacting us at privacy@naukardundo.com. Withdrawal will not affect processing already lawfully carried out before withdrawal. Certain Services may no longer be available where the relevant data is necessary to provide them.
Some processing may also be undertaken where otherwise permitted or required under applicable law.
How candidate information is shared with employers
NaukarDundo is designed to facilitate direct hiring.
Information contained in a candidate’s profile or application may be made available to an employer or recruiter in accordance with the product functionality and the candidate’s actions. Depending on the feature, certain contact information may remain restricted until the employer uses an applicable contact-unlock feature or otherwise becomes entitled to access it.
Employers receiving candidate information must use it only for legitimate recruitment and related hiring purposes, and in accordance with applicable law and NaukarDundo’s Terms.
Candidates should independently assess employers and opportunities before sharing additional documents, financial information or other sensitive information outside the Platform.
Service providers and other disclosures
We may disclose personal data to service providers acting on our behalf or otherwise supporting the Services, including providers of:
- hosting and cloud infrastructure;
- OTP and authentication;
- communications such as email, SMS or WhatsApp;
- payment processing;
- analytics and performance monitoring;
- customer support;
- fraud prevention and cybersecurity; and
- professional services.
We may also disclose information:
- where required by law, legal process or a lawful government or regulatory request;
- to investigate fraud, abuse, threats or security incidents;
- to protect the rights, safety or property of users, NaukarDundo or others;
- in connection with a merger, restructuring, financing, acquisition, sale of assets or similar corporate transaction, subject to applicable safeguards; or
- with your direction or consent.
We do not sell personal data to advertisers as a standalone data-brokerage business.
Communications
We may send service-related communications necessary to operate your account or recruitment activity, including OTPs, security alerts, application and hiring updates and support messages.
Promotional communications will be sent in accordance with applicable law and available consent and opt-out requirements. You may unsubscribe using the method provided in the communication, or through available account settings.
Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Notice, including providing the Services, maintaining account and transaction records, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, complying with legal and accounting obligations and enforcing agreements.
Retention periods may differ by category of data. When personal data is no longer required, we will delete, anonymise or otherwise handle it in accordance with applicable law and operational requirements.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse.
No internet service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for keeping authentication information confidential, protecting their devices, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorised account access.
Data breaches
Where a personal data breach occurs, NaukarDundo will assess and respond to the incident and provide notifications to affected persons and relevant authorities where, and to the extent, required by applicable law.
Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions, you may have rights to:
- obtain information about personal data processed about you;
- request correction, completion or updating of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
- request erasure of personal data in circumstances provided by law;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- access grievance redressal mechanisms; and
- nominate another individual to exercise applicable rights in circumstances recognised by law.
To submit a privacy request, contact privacy@naukardundo.com or use any rights-management facility made available in the Platform. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request.
Your responsibilities
You should:
- provide authentic and accurate information;
- keep information reasonably up to date;
- not impersonate another person or company;
- not upload documents or personal data you have no right to provide;
- use employer and candidate information only for legitimate recruitment purposes; and
- promptly report suspected fraud or misuse.
Children
NaukarDundo is intended primarily for persons legally eligible to seek employment or conduct recruitment.
If a person is under 18 years of age and the processing of their personal data is permitted for a relevant opportunity, NaukarDundo will handle such data in accordance with applicable requirements concerning children, including verifiable parental or guardian consent where legally required.
Employers must comply with all applicable laws governing minimum age, child and adolescent labour, working conditions and prohibited occupations. The Platform must not be used to facilitate unlawful child labour.
Cross-border processing
Some service providers or technical infrastructure may process or store data outside the user’s state or outside India. Where cross-border processing occurs, NaukarDundo will take the steps required under applicable Indian law and any applicable governmental restrictions.
Third-party services and links
The Platform may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party services, including payment, communication, mapping or employer websites. Third parties may have their own privacy practices. NaukarDundo is not responsible for independent third-party privacy practices, and users should review the relevant third-party notices.
Automated matching and recommendations
NaukarDundo may use automated systems to rank, recommend or match jobs and candidates based on information such as location, job category, experience, salary preferences, skills, availability and Platform activity.
Recommendations are intended to assist discovery. They do not guarantee an interview, selection, employment, candidate suitability or hiring outcome.
Fraud, safety and recruitment scams
Be cautious of anyone demanding money in exchange for an interview, a guaranteed selection or a job offer. Legitimate post-selection requirements may exist in some employment contexts, but you should independently verify the employer and the purpose before sharing money, bank details or identity documents.
Report suspected scams, fake jobs, impersonation or misuse by opening the job posting on the job board and using “Report this job” — reporting is free and needs no account — or by writing to grievance@naukardundo.com.

We may update this Privacy Notice to reflect changes in the Services, law, technology or business practices. The updated version will display a revised “Last updated” date — currently 28 August 2026. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes.
